support, repair, and maintenance of technical systems for RCL Fleet, within Facilities & Refurbishment department. These include pool, whirlpool, and laundry operations, plus fresh, gray and black water piping systems. Also assists in developing and implementing strategies to reduce expenditures and minimize deficiencies. He/She will develop and implement strategies for replacement, repairs and preventative maintenance. Superintendent will also develop plans to increase efficiency and reduce defects while ensuring compliance with USPH / VSP. He/She will report on progress of maintenance projects to management. Superintendent assistant will also be supporting projects from conception to completion, ensuring on time and in budget delivery. He/She is responsible for communicating effectively with Marine Operations, Hotel Operations and vessel management to identify areas of concern and opportunities for improvement. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree, with a concentration in Project Management, Industrial or Marine Engineering, or equivalent experience required. Knowledge of marine systems and understanding of conventional and new age materials used preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory position.
