compartment during passage through harsh areas. The armor protects against small arms fire and fragments from nearby explosions. The Zodiac Enforcer caused by the violent nature of high speed boating in military, law enforcement and first responder operations. Since 2002 SEAS has been supplying the U.S. military with MitiGator seating systems, cushions and floor mats to protect against injury due to mine blasts and IEDs, impacts and crashes, repeated shocks and whole body vibration. MitiGator technology can be found in over 45,000 military vehicles including Cobra & Apache helicopters, Humvees, MRAPs, Expeditionary Fighting Vehicles, Navy boats and other combat vehicles. These tests and evaluations resulted in the development of a light-weight appliqu armor kit, utilizing Tensylon, a family of Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene tape and composite products. This lighter-weight, more cost effective composite material benefits military platforms including sea craft. It is moisture resistant and impervious to sea water. Tensylon is manufactured in the company's Monroe, North Carolina facility, part of BAE Systems' Security & Survivability line of business which is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. Zodiac of North America, Inc. launched the new Zodiac Enforcer line of RIBs tailored to the needs of marine law enforcement agencies. The inflatable collars on Zodiac RIBs permits a deep V hull to run the length of the craft. This allows the Zodiac Enforcer to slice through the water with less of the up and down action that contributes to operator fatigue. The vessel is built from a common platform to reduce cost, but is customizable. The Zodiac Enforcer line will be manufactured at the Zodiac factory in Summerville, SC. BAE Systems, Tensylon for Military Toughness BAE Systems developed a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with Army Research Labs (ARL) in 2007 to test and evaluate composite armor solutions to defeat current and emerging threats in Iraq and Afghanistan. MitiGator Protects Combat Craft Users Sea System Group Inc. (SEAS) teamed up with Premier Performance Interiors (PPI) to integrate MitiGator technology into high performance boat seats and deck mats.
