SeaContainer Towable Tanks
Kepner Plastics Fabricators, Inc.'s SeaContainer towable tanks serve a variety of applications including petroleum based liquid collection, storage and transfer. SeaContainer towable tanks are collapsible and feature aluminum dishes at each end. They are towable behind a boat or skimming vessel at high speeds, even when filled. The tanks are hydrodynamically contoured, filled and drained with negligible residuum, track readily around obstacles and have low towing drag resistance. They feature automatic gas venting, tow from either end and are easily cleaned. The tanks have a removable head for inspection, three inch fill and drain capabilities forward and aft, gas vent valves, capped fittings for optional accessories and bumpers incorporated for wear resistance. The SeaContainer towable tank is made of Kepelastex, 100 percent polyurethane coated fabric, stainless steel aluminum and other corrosion resistant materials. Kepylene foam and air locks provide buoyancy. The tanks can be cleaned with mild detergent and water or KepKleen 99. Optional accessories include valves and fittings to customer specifications, outriggers for high sea state conditions, re-useable storage/deployment packaging, light and flag attachments, all stainless steel fittings and a repair kit.
